… And there are jars of flowers everywhere.

Not fancy flowers. Nor fancy jars.
Just simple, sweet offerings, from the garden outside.

So lovely.
When was the last time you picked wildflowers? For yourself, or someone else?

In gratitude for the tiny gestures of love, G xO
So many foreign fleurs down-under! Just this morning I was looking through snapshots of florals demonstrating love, given to me from my two children. Sooo gratifying!
Are you near Brisbane? I have a niece who lives there (and another niece in Melbourne).
Wishing you a warm and wonderful holiday.

That’s a fun coincidence isn’t it? And how cute you took photos of the floral tributes: smart idea 😊😍
I’m 1.5hrs from Brisbane, & thanks for the holiday wishes- straight back at ya 😊❤

Absolutely. I’ll try to figure out how to post some of them. I guess, maybe that’s what a blog is for?

I stumbled around and found a blog page connected to Kate Peters, via Atwood Cutting. The confusion is all a part of having unwisely given myself three identities/persona in the beginning of my writing career. Big mistake. But if I can find it again, I’ll be posting pictures of posies. I am also trying to figure out how to post on Instagram. A beautiful photo and a few words sounds like my cup of tea.

I love flowers. Unfortunately, it’s snowing outside and there are NO flowers in sight.

Thanks Dewy- ‘H’ is actually not a he nor a she really; prefers ‘they’, if anything. Not your average love interest, that’s for sure! Thanks for commenting- definitely a keeper, yes : ) xO G

Lovely photos of lovely flowers. I think wildflowers and odd bottles go so well together. It’s like they each enhance the simple beauty of the other and they can inhabit those tiny nooks and shelves so inconspicuously, and yet lend delicacy and elegance. It’s such a special way of saying ‘I’m glad you came.’ Hope you have a wonderful stay. You are certainly off to a good start.

Jean, you hit the nail on the head exactly. I’ve never been a ‘dozen red roses’ kinda girl, & love the charm of mismatched plates & glasses; ‘H’s welcome display is the perfectly gentle symbol of exactly who ‘H’ is 😊😍❤🌈
Thanks for understanding & commenting 😘
